Jackson reaches deal
The Patriots came to a contract agreement last night with rookie wide receiver Chad Jackson.

The second-round pick from the University of Florida is scheduled to fly to Boston this morning and sign a four-year deal.

According to David Canter, Jackson's agent, Patriots rookies are scheduled to report to Gillette Stadium tonight.

Canter also confirmed that linebacker Jeremy Mincey, a sixth-round pick from Florida, has agreed to a three-year deal.

That leaves just three of the Patriots' 10 draft picks without deals.

good move by the Pats he shouldn't be counted on too much, but it is nice for them to have some youth at WR.

I am still waiting for Jackson to get himself right , and be a part of this team. With the Branch holdout, We need Jackson to be in there.

I have heard all sorts of rumors about this kid since camp started, and none of them are good.

Havnt really heard of him but im looking at some of the profiles that some websites have of him. I hope he's a good asset to the Pats though.
