Tue, 1 Aug 2006 22:38:31 -0700

John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports New England Patriots LB Tedy Bruschi (wrist) might have suffered a broken wrist during practice Monday, July 31. He will be sidelined at least a week while the team determines how severe the injury is. A source claims Bruschi will be put in a cast or splint until a more definitive prognosis is reached.

Patriots | Vrabel could move inside
Wed, 2 Aug 2006 11:39:39 -0700

Updating previous reports, ESPN.com reports New England Patriots OLB Mike Vrabel could be forced to move back to inside linebacker if ILB Tedy Bruschi (wrist) misses time with a wrist injury.

Doesn't sound to good.

he'll play with the pain and wear a cast. He doesn't need his hands to smash guys or deflect passes.
