Branch has 1 week to find trade
The pats have given Branch 1 week to find a team to trade for him.
If he went to the Steelers which is most doubtful i really wouldnt mind, we have great depth at WR, which the patriots dont and a two for one deal might not be bad, whats another SB MVP WR on your team. I dont like holdouts, but at the sametime i undertand them and Branch with Ward would be a hell of a 1-2 punch.....just a thought although it will never happen.

He's good but Penn. teams seem to invite "trouble" Eagles T.O. ect.

He deserves a new contract, hes still on his rookie contract and is Bradys guy so i dont know why they wont extend. TO ect? I think TO is about it. Besides it would never happen, we have alot of WRs and we never trade and are quiet in FA.

i think the Vikings should try to get him. With everything that happened to KORO, they could really use Branch.

Thats very true, but what do they have that the Pats need? The pats really need someone for Brady to throw to and thats why i was thinking like for the steelers for example, 2 for 1 because of the unbelieveable depth. Vikes dont have many WRs.

true, maybe they could just trade some draft picks. But then it begs the question what round? Is a second or third rounder to high for Branch?

Do you guys really think the Pats will let him go? Or are they just calling his bluff?

I dont think a 2nd or 3rd rounder would be to much, hes very productive and has extensive playoff expierience. He'll be a good fit for any team that gets him because i dont think a holdout means their a bad guy, they just want a new contract and he deserves one. Teams will think twice about him, but i think he'll be a good pick up, he only has to the first to find a team though.

They dont really have a choice, hes gonna holdout til week 10, then report to practice and become an unrestricted free agent. Why not try and get what you can now rather than just letting him walk away at the end of the season.

I hear you but why should he leave a team that has a good shot at the SB. Especially with Brady as your QB. If he sticks around a few years and builds some impressive stats he can get what he wants. Maybe he's too impatient?
