I dont think that Branch is asking for a whole lot of money, Im sure that other teams would be more than willing to pay him what he is asking (unless it is that out of the question) but Branch is the one that is going to have to fold here. If history has taught us anything is that the Pats dont care who your are or waht you have done, if you dont play ball to their rules, theyll show you the door.

6 million a year in tot salary would have made him the 15th highest paid player i dont think i would have gone for that either, in any case i have stated my philosophy when it comes to NFl contract, just pay em, you will propably get your money back in two or three seasons

Tell me does ANYONE in NE put up top of the line numbers besides Brady? Cna he be replaced? sure, but why bother? If you alreasy have a guy that syncs well with your QB, makes clutch plays and has been a team player thus far, why not pay him?

But since the NE organization detests paying anyone the butt ton money of maney they would get paid elswhere (Tom Brady is the most accomplisehd QB out there right now, he is getting paid peanuts comapred to Manning and Palmer)

The guy is stuck. Llike i said before, Branch is the one that is going to have to fold if he wants to lay with the pats this year.

i think that he'll get Six Mill somewhere else, the Skins or the Cowboys would have no problem throwing that out.
