Default Pats Resign Poteat

Patriots re-sign cornerback Poteat
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Patriots re-signed cornerback Hank Poteat on Wednesday after placing Randall Gay on the injured reserve list with a hamstring injury.

An undrafted free agent, Gay became a starter as a rookie in 2004.

Last season, Poteat was signed by the Patriots after injuries decimated the secondary. He played in 10 regular-season and two playoff games, recording 24 tackles and 20 solo tackles.

Yea a lot of players get a job cause of injuries. Then as soon as Gay returns he will be gone.

These are the opportunities for these guys to resurrect their careers. If I were him, I'd play my butt off so even if he is released he can get picked up by another team.
