Default 38-13 win Are the Patriots making a statement?

Is it me or are the Pats making a statement wich simply says dont count them out, yet because in fact thay are healthy, ready to go and are a still a play-off contender.

They have a few tough games in the future; Indi, Chicago and Jax. But I think they have a good chance of taking AFC East. Yesterdays win against Bengals was further reassurment.

They should be able to win it with the 'Phins struggling this year. The Bills and Jets arent out though.

Pats were impressive and Bengals were horrible... I expected this to be much much closer...

It was one of those games where maroney was hot and he couldn't be stopped and cincy lost the game early. NE isn't that good and Cincy isn't that bad.

I do not think maroney was the key.... palmer was harassed and beat up. 2 balls were ripped off his hands and sacked .
The secondary defelected/patted/nearly intercepted most of the 3 rd downs.Bengals were 2/11 in 3rd downs .When you do not make 3rd downs you are not going any where.
Oh they could not run either the front 7 smothered the run,First 2 drives to the redzone was stopped for 2 goals. Not sure how maroney did all this .Most important of all the 3 rd throws were successfull ...to doug falk graham and every one included brady moved the 3rd down. Maroney was playing only very few thired down.when you cannot stop 3rd down you loose as the team keeps moving up.
The kick off return was faulk 42 yrds.
touch downs were graham , doug 25 yrds ,dillion 1yr,maroney 25 yr and another one in the mid teens.

No sacks allowed in 14 quaters on tom brady also helps.

The Benglas defense has been pretty banged up, and I think it showed for the first time this season.

On the same note the pats CBs were lost and signed a guy off the street in hank poteat and chad scott.
can you explain how this guys covering chad and T.J shut down the 2 best #1WR.Shouldn`t the WR have monster numbers against guys picked up from the street ?.Just curious.
