FOXBORO - One impact NFL player desperately wants to be traded before today’s 4 p.m. deadline. A Sports Illustrated report over the weekend said the Patriots could be interested.
That player is Randy Moss. And the man who knows him better than anyone in the Patriots locker room says he’d make a seamless transition here.
“He’d be a perfect fit in this offense,” said former Raiders teammate Doug Gabriel. “He loves to work. If Randy were here, every other receiver would want to pick up their games 110 percent. It wouldn’t just be a small push. It would be a big push.”

the patriots have two first rounders .what do you mean they have nothing to trade .moss is in my opinion not a very standup guy .i wouldnt give the raiders a seventh round pick for that player and branch was under contract and they offered him a new deal that was to start next year 6 million per year .he turned it down because hes has a less than intelligent man for a agent .get your facts straight, my dear pittsburgh fan.

Ok patsie boy, the patriots wouldnt trade their 1st rounders for him...this team likes to build from the draft, not from free agent superstars. The dont like paying big names and they probably never will, big names always walk away from NE....BTW Moss would take more than 6 million dollars a year, like i said....they didnt pay branch that kind of money and they wont pay moss.

Okay the QB didnt walk...and one of the best defensive lineman in the league got a big contract...so what. They have always prefered to make players superstars rather than pay big money for free agents.
