its laughable that you make the argument about brady not having good WRs....well it seems like when he gets them they dont get any credit at all.

They couldnt do 80% of what they do without moss, if it was brady in there making those throws to jabaar gaffney, chad jackson, david patten, reshea caldwell....they might be winning but they are not putting up half the points they are now....not even HALF.

As for the moss in oakland argument....moss quit, no doubt about it, there was no passion on that team and they didnt want to play after starting 0-8....there is no doubt about it that moss is a greedy player and will get lazy if hes not happy, but he is SOOOOOO much of the 2007 patriots offense that he should be considered for MVP

KT think about it, no way Moss is = 50% of NEs points.

He by far has the majority of the TDs...its not even remotely close, and the ones he doesnt have is a result of his presence on the field opening things up....i'd give him credit for more than half.

Do you think, in his absence that jabbar gaffney would score that many points or draw that many double coverages?

didnt think so

And NEs OL gives Brady plenty of time to choose whoever he wants to throw to.
Just a perfectly balanced team. Makes the Montana,Young era look 2nd rate.

So without Moss NE would only have 200 points this season so far instead of 411?

Yes I don't think so.

i envy bradys protection...i have protection envy.

But i dont get what your argument is....are you just trying not to give moss credit because your argument is just proving my point on how important moss is. He has alot of time, abd he throws to moss for TDs....just because he picks moss doesnt make moss less valuable, it makes him more valuable...i guarantee you gaffney or caldwell or jackson wouldnt even have 1/3 of the TDs moss have, and yet brady would have just as much time to "pick" them to throw to

Never said Moss isn't worth squat. Can't see how you figure that I did.
Yes he is a very important part of NEs offense, he's just not 50% of their yardage or points.

Brady = MVP not Moss, but he's close.

thats right..."without moss", moss has scored 96 points, the PAT accounts for an extra 16...thats 112 moss can be credited with.

Now take those away and account for all of welkers and stallworths that cam against single coverage while moss was on the field...obviously a stat you cant get, but you know what you have when you "take away" a player like moss....you have about as many points as everyone else and thats a big difference.

Why do you not want to credit moss for this teams success?

brady was never an MVP type player without moss, but moss was without brady...brady was successful, but not even close to the same
