Now take those away and account for all of welkers and stallworths that cam against single coverage while moss was on the field...obviously a stat you cant get, but you know what you have when you "take away" a player like moss....you have about as many points as everyone else and thats a big difference.
Why do you not want to credit moss for this teams success?

Because it's not a 1 man team. Moss has 20TDs Welker and Watson have 7 each.
So without Moss Pats are -34TDs. Doesn't Brady get any credit for points? or can we throw Wrex in there with the pats OL and Wrex would have 38TDs too?

QBs have up and down seasons. Bradys down season(s) are better than most QBs best seasons.
Look at Favre this year compared to last.
Brady had 24TDs 12ints and 26 sacks last season
This year 38TDs 4ints and 10 sacks.

brady has been good from the start, i never said he wasnt good...and he doesnt not get the credit, he actually gets all of it. But he was never this good without a talent like moss.
Honestly i cant believe im defending randy moss, but his presence on that team is second to none

The thing is, Brady is who he has alway's been.
But right now they have the perfect mix of WR's that make them unstopable, and Moss is the catlyst for that. Take Moss out, and Stallworth becomes 3nd rate #1 WR, anmd Welker becomes mediocre.
Brady has executed that offence to perfection, almost literally, bit without Moss's addition, they would be a totally different team.
Watch what happens in 2008 if Moss walks as a FA

Moss is a FA, stallworth is a FA with a big bonus they wont be willing to pay if he stays
Moss will be such a sought after player, he will make fortunes.....the pats made him take a huge paycut just to play for them, after this MVP type season he will walk and make millions, millions more than NE would be willing to pay

I don't think the Pats will have the $$$ to pay Moss anyway.
Moss might want to stay and not take a chance again like he did with the Raiders.
But I can't wait to see what happens.

whether he wants to stay or not, hes a greedy player and i wouldnt blame him to walk and get the kind of money he'll be looking at. It will become oh so much easier for him to walk if he gets a ring
