I agree 100% look at their starting LB's for proof

I don't see them going LB, unless noone is willing to trade up and even then they probabally wouldn't

I watch Laurinatis and Conner almost every week (their both in the Big 10) and I like Laurinatis because he is literally in on every tackle. Connor is still good.

IMO if Laurinatis finishes strong, you could see him go 5 or 6 at the earliest imo. What about N.E's DE's? Chris Long would be a good fit and will probabally go in the top 5.
Multi Quote strikes again

They dont need a DE. With Warren, Seymore and Green.
NE's is going to need LB's bad as much as footbalmaster disagree's.
Brushci and Seau are probobly going to retire at the end of the season, and Vrable is old as well. Colvin and Thomas arent good enough for NE to lose Bruschi and Seau without adding high quality youth. LB will be a serious weakness next year if they dont bring in some young talent

Yes, LB will be a need for the Pats but they tend to acuire Vetren LB's.

Well, what are the chances that NE signs a top LB Free Agent such as
Karlos Dansby, Boss Bailey, Demorrio Williams

I think Dansby is an UFA as is Lance Briggs and you know he will be looking for a fat contract elsewhere

Thats why I said he will get tagged.
Now if they didnt overpay for Thomas last year, they may have been able to make a run at Dansby and or Suggs if neither gets tagged. But now.... not gonna happen

Bailey seems to play alright in Detroit's defense, that is when he is healthy.

what about a guy like Lemar Marshall who played well at times for the Skins and was ousted with the signing of London Fletcher. He signed with his hometown Bengals for one season and is doing nothing(inj??) I believe he is a UFA as well and fits into the 3-4 scheme. He was also a really good special team player if I remember and could play all LB positions. With the Pats, he could flourish, what do you think?
