Default For those who think passing is our gameplan.

Don't be surprised if Maroney and Faulk combine for like 35-40 carries during the first game. Maroney has been looking sharp lately and all the records are done now. I really think Belichick knows better than to have Brady continue to come out passing like that, especially in cold Foxboro.

Even though Maroney only got about 45 yards last week he ran well, but don't expect him to become the star of the offense. The Patriots are a throwing team. Nobody in the NFL has figured out how to stop the offense. It has been slowed down, but it comes through when it counts the most. I could see them running at most a little more then in the Giants. So between 20-30 carries

They have to run, no way they can stay pass happy, especially if/when the snow comes.

look at the last 8 games compared to the first 8 games, the passing game definitely slowed down but was still productive, basically at this point, they could go pass or run depending on what works at the time, that is really how they roll. They take the philosophy of take what's being given to you to a whole new level.

I would rather them run it more now.

Huh??

Many see the Pats as a passing team only just because all the focus is on Brady, and rightfully so.

But they ended up 13th overall with 115.6 yds/game.
Wish my Bears were that good.

Yea they could run the ball when Morris was still active once he went down they abandoned the running for a few games and Maroney had problems running the ball. He hasn't even looked good till this last week. The previous week is discounted because all his yards came on two plays that even I could have gone all the way because they required no skill.
