Brady: "I'll be ready to go"
Brady: "I'll be ready to go"

PHOENIX -- Okay, so Tom Brady did address the media. And he's also confused about the rain.
"I guess we brought that crappy weather from Foxborough here," he joked.
But we asked for the news, not the weather. And we actually got it when Brady was asked about the ankle.
Well, after he tried the old "What'd coach say?" routine.
"I feel good," he said. "I'll be ready to go."
Brady did say he didn't practice at all last week, though he later clarified that he's thrown a bit on the side while doing some jogging and taking a few simulated dropbacks.
"It's been a good week. The team's practiced hard, although I haven't practiced," he said. "But I've watched them practice hard and I think we're pretty well caught up mentally. We've got to have a great week of practice because (the Giants) really challenges you. They're good in all aspects of the game. Defensively, they put pressure on you, which we experienced just a few weeks ago (in Week 17).
"I think we need three days of practice, which I hope to be participating in."
Brady confirmed he sprained his ankle in the AFC Championship game against the Chargers but said it didn't affect the first of his three interceptions in the game.
"I wish I could blame interceptions on that," he said.
No word on whether it affected the other two.
Still, just to repeat: He's playing.
"It'll take a helluva lot more than an ankle to keep me out," Brady said.

its all games, these people have won 3 superbowls in 6 years and cheating or not, they know how to win. I have lost a lot of respect for the nfl as they allow this arrogance while based a lot on skill and work and practice, it also burdens that cheating blemish that should at least have calmed the arrogance. It however turned into a confidence that rivaled the greats such as Custer and Napolean. I can't say that I have ever rooted for the Giants, but it doesn't matter as the Patriots will win and we all have to endure what this produces - shows on cnn about the Patriots business, shows on HGTV about the Patriots players wives home lives in the garden. There will be shows on mtv where people will want to be made over to look like Tom Brady. This transcends sports and yet everyone knows that they cheated once and had a significant amount of "Material" that was immediately destroyed and then brushed away in a very Tagliabue-esqe fashion. I still don't know what happened to peoples values system.
The Black Sox were disqualified from the league and the players involved were banned from the league. The patriots lose the worse of their 2 first round picks and the amount of money that Belicheater burns to keep his house warm and it all goes away. I just don't get it. I just think a little less mind games and a little more respect for the game they are playing and owe their fame, nay infamy too.

A lot of cheat's, considering the NFL hasn't used that word to describe them.

It's definitly wrong but a major part of sports in general. The current roid scandal in MLB,and just look what goes on in college football for teams to aquire players. Maybe they're warming them up for the pro's?
And for those that follow it, NASCAR too.
Richard Petty is known as the greatest driver/winner of all time but to some he's also known as the greatest cheater of all time.

YOu know, Prof, I know this is going to come across as an insult to you, and I apologize ahead of time for that, but there is really no way I can respect your opinion anymore. Simple as that. YOu either know nothing about football, or your one of those trolls just trying to get on Patriot's fan's nerves... and whether you would want to admit it or not, that would only be because you hate that they are a team that wins.
Anyone who knows anything about football realizes that the whole spygate incident was just something the media made into a big deal to bring up ratings. You sound like you actually believe that the "cheating" was what caused the Patriots to win Superbowls, and thats just not likely, and practically impossible. You can bring up any number of arguments to help your cause, but if you truly believe that the Patriots were bringing videotapes to the lockerroom at halftime, and in that small amount of time, figuring out the signals for the second half, that just shows a true ignorance of the way football works. They would have to hire about 100 people (maybe an exaggeration, but you get my point) to get this done, and that would be too dangerous, as likely one or more of them would leak this out to the public. Also, if you truly believe that if the Patriots were doing something as horrible as this, they would make it as obvious as they did in Week 1 of this season, your just being gullible. If Belichick was doing something as bad as what you are talking about, he would have been trying to hide it. He also probably would have been using more modern equipment than that guy was using in spygate.
Bill Belichick has claimed that he misunderstood the rules, and not only does that make sense because of what I mentioned above, but since this is a country where someone has to be proven guilty of something before they are prosecuted, it is all we can blame Belichick for. Misunderstanding the rules is not cheating, plain and simple. In fact, breaking the rules is not really cheating either, otherwise, everytime an offensive lineman holds a defensive lineman in a play and is called for holding, that team would have to be considered cheaters, which is just plain stupid.
The rules were created a year before (I might add, this was after the Patriots won their Superbowls, so even if the Pats were doing this impossible task you seem to think they were doing during the Superbowl, it was perfectly legal to do it back then). The league pointed out this rule about a week before it happened, which is why the Patriots, and Bill Belichick were punished so stiffly. Also, the league wanted to make sure no one else did it. If teams know this is how they will be punished, hopefully they will be smart enough not to do it in the future.
You seem to believe the reason why the evidence was destroyed was because something was found on it that would prove fatal. Not sure what you think that is. What was probably on those tapes were the signals of offenses that everyone thinks was on it. That doesn't prove they were using them in the same game. What I think is more likely is that they really didn't find much, and if they showed the public this, then they wouldn't be able to punish the Pats as harshly as they did, and thus no example would have been made, and teams would continue to do it.
Lastly, the Patriots filming of the signals on the sidelines IS NOT BREAKING THE RULES in the NFL. What was breaking the rules is having someone on the sidelines doing this. Another words, it is perfectly legal for someone in the stands (15 feet back) to do the same thing the Patriots were doing in Week 1.

Honestly can spygate f*cking die already? If you think the pats NEED to steal signals or have been doing ever since is just plain dumb. Pats have the best offence of all time. They also have a great defense. They have arguably the best head coach right now, and maybe one day of all time. They are the best in the business. People are mad because they used to be silent went they won there other Superbowls. Now that they're doing it with style, they're public enemy #1 (they were before also). Get over, while everyone is *****ing and complaining there dominating every team they play. Just stop the *****ing and enjoy history being made.
