I believe there are more important matters going on than videotaping illegally in the NFL.

Goodel should be the one deciding what if anything should be done here.
That couldnt disagree more with you. Corruption is corruption and Goodell needs to understand that he is not God and what he says doesnt just go. ANY time there is public question it needs to be addressed, Goodell didnt, so a Senator did.

Again I couldnt disagree more. HIs handling of the situation was a mess. When you confiscate what you call a "library" of tapes and dont elaborate at all as to what was on them someone with power needs to be involved. Im glad he did this, this BS with them was swept under the rug WAY to fast IMO in favor of a perfect season, it's pathetic really.

I didnt see you mention corruption in there, that is on a whole different level then punching and kicking and letting it go is what the commish wanted from the begining that's why he destroyed the tapes.

If there is corruption they should! If the governing bodies of that sport fail then some one needs to step up, he did.

There are and I'm sure they're being addressed.

so if someone finds corruption going on in a business that deals with say the stock market, then they should be fined and move on, NO!!!, they go to jail for corruption, why should football players and teams and coaches be allowed to move on in the face of corruption just because the m*******s want it to go away. That would be like family and friends of enron saying they should just fine them and move on. Don't let your team loyalty blind you to the obvious wrongdoings

no it wasn't embezzlement of the known kind, but it was corruption that caused who knows how many different outcomes. There should have been some accountability that was more than a slap on the wrist with ABSOLUTELY ZERO analyzation of the material or explanation from the from the actual perpetrators. It would be like a class of college students cheated for god knows how long and when found out they only received a fine added to their tuition and needed to give zero explanation or be accountable to those they cheated. Also, they get to keep all they grades they cheated to get and any evidence that they cheated at all was immediately destroyed. If that happened, there would be an outrage, but because pats fans want it to go away, it will, That is ridiculous.

The bottom line is the government should have nothing to do with it. The government makes laws, law enforcement officials(Local police, county, state,FBI ect.)enforces the laws. If anything Goodel should go to the FBI or state law officials but I think that's making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Government is responsible for investigating/impeaching itself. Ha like that will happen. LOL

I couldn't agree more. It's plain and simple as this. The Patriots did not break any US laws! I know this may be hard for Professor to believe but the Patriots didn't do any federal harm. The only reason they started getting involved in Baseball was because steroids are illegal. Even that I felt was stretching it, just assign it to another organization, and don't waste your community service on interrogating sports and instead actually try to make a difference in this country.

lol I'm glad to hear you think Godell is a pats fan. Now I'm going to answer to prove you wrong with a question. Should these college students you were talking about have to go in front of congress if they did nothing illegal?

I know that but Hammer, video taping someone elses play call? Come on that's just so cheap it's unbelievable.
