That's why.
Why did 7 tapes get destroyed immediately without analyzing what was on these tapes? it bears some sort of explanation to the FOOTBALL FANS of the MORAL and JUST NFL, that Goodell spoke so much about. At least an explanation.

He (Godell) said that they were destroyed that fast because what was on them was what NE told him was on them. The problem is, is that he never said (publicly) what was on all of them.
This CAN'T be let go as long as there is speculation as to what was on there. This is wht now a Senator is getting invlolved because of how shady it was.

The US government or any person there of should have nothing to do with this. Our government has their hands full IMO with much more important issues and should have absoloutly nothing to do with sports corruption of any kind, yes including MLB too.
Now if there was a crime commited like what Vick did then fine, call the proper law enforcement authorities not the government.
Goodel should be the one deciding what if anything should be done here.

I'm tired of this moral BS. The football field has no limitations. There's punches, kicks, scrathing, biting, cheap shot, late hits, and so much more it's not even funny. But you don't hear about that every day do you? Let it go finally.

This is just some politician trying to make a name for himself. The Patriots broke a league rule. They were fined for their actions. Case closed, move on. Is the government going to get involved in everything? In every league?
