As of right now he has gotten away with nothing. Wait till the facts are out before you start claiming ignorant and possible false facts.

Same thing happened to Randy Moss when he walked off the field. Its not just a Patriots thing.

I'm sorry, but leaving the field in the manner he did displayed poor sportsmanship. There is a difference between being competitive, driven, and focused and being a poor sport. Yes, he just lost the Superbowl, but he should have stayed on the sidelines until the final snap. He should have been much, much more gracious in his post-game comments.
I am reminded of the MOST classless thing I have ever seen in sports. When the Detroit Pistons defeated the Boston Celtics to finally advance to the NBA Finals, Kevin McHale went over and wished them luck against the Lakers. When the Bulls finally overcame their nemesis, those same Pistons, to go the the Finals, Isiah Thomas orchestrates the clearing of the bench before the end of the game. Disgusting.
I find Belichick's behaviour to be in the same category. I noticed he didn't leave the sidelines when his Patriots were beating the Bills 56-7. No, he was going for it on 4th and 7 to pile on the score.

You just made everybody else's point. If he had any class he would have stayed out until the final gun. He didn't...it was all about him in his mind. It's not about having a chance, it's about respect for your opponent. Should the Dolphins have left the field when they were down 40-some points and Belicheck was throwing and going for it on 4th down? Did they have a chance? He's a class-A jerk-off.

What I think everyone could easily be overlooking is that everyone thought the game was done. Belichek wasn't the only one how went on the field. I know myself I thought the game was over.

The refs came out and told the players and coaches about the 1 sec. left. I don't buy it. If this had been the only episode of him acting like this..ok but it wasn't. He knocked a photog over after the Jets game because he was in his way doing his job. You're a Pats fan and I understand defending your team. Calling a fake spike up a ton against the Dolphins? He has no respect.

I totally agree and the thing that makes it worse IMO is the fact that he has been there before. He has sent 3 teams to where he was Sunday and all of their HC's showed him and his team the decency they deserved, he did not and I think that's what the big deal is (to me anyway). This behavior is common for him and very petty.

We need to start rebuilding our defense a bit.
