I love Bruschi and Seau but we need some youth at the LB spot.

Err he had a torn MCL bud, let me tell you something about a torn MCL considering I've had one. It feels like you got shot when he it happens, that he even played on 2 running plays is amazing, you can't do anything it's critical to your knee stability, so why don't you STFU unless you've played on a damn torn MCL bish.

I don't care what position you play, or how serious the injury is, you don't play in a meaningless Probowl game if your injured. Theres just no reason to be risking further injury like that. And the crazy thing is that every real football fan knows that, so get over it!

The ref was trying to tell Belichick that the game wasn't over, so I hear. Did it occur to anyone that it was seriously loud in that stadium, and maybe Belichick didn't hear the guy? By the time he realized that the game wasn't over, he felt it was too late to come back to the field. Maybe that was a mistake, but its not as bad as everyone is making it out to be. And the reason why the media is making a big deal of it is because the media hates him. Why? Because he doesn't kiss their asses. Bill Belichick is usually a pretty classy coach. He never smack talks the other team, and always gives the other team all the credit in the world, whether they win or lose. If he can be a bit of a poor sport when he loses, thats what makes him so successful at all other times.
"I wasn't really sure of the time," Belichick said in a conference call Tuesday. "Everybody started on to the field and then I got over there and I wanted to congratulate Tom. I've been in that situation before after the game. I wanted to get over there and congratulate him and congratulate him on the championship. There really wasn't much left at that point."

It's not as bad as people are making it out to be but his excue IMO is part BS too. He had the ref RIGHT THERE telling him and I'm sure it was told to him countless times as he ran how many yards off the field? The guy is an A-hole and everyone knows this, this is typical IMO but nothing as big as what the media is making it to be.

Like I previously stated, biggest loss of hsi career
I am reminded of the MOST classless thing I have ever seen in sports. When the Detroit Pistons defeated the Boston Celtics to finally advance to the NBA Finals, Kevin McHale went over and wished them luck against the Lakers. When the Bulls finally overcame their nemesis, those same Pistons, to go the the Finals, Isiah Thomas orchestrates the clearing of the bench before the end of the game. Disgusting.
I find Belichick's behaviour to be in the same category. I noticed he didn't leave the sidelines when his Patriots were beating the Bills 56-7. No, he was going for it on 4th and 7 to pile on the score.

Should the Dolphins have left the field when they were down 40-some points and Belicheck was throwing and going for it on 4th down? Did they have a chance? He's a class-A jerk-off.

The point is, 18-0 and losing in the superbowl does really make you feel like sticking around. I was still in shock for another 2 days.

You and I are fans, he is the head coach of an NFL franchise. He should show the respect of the other team that you and I can afford not to. 18-0 shouldn't matter. Any head coach who loses the super bowl should have the respect of the game and foe to stick around to the end.
