These Pats fans are impossible to reason with.
Oh well, I'm done trying. It's obviously a waste of time...they all need to eat some of that humble pie Belicheat made such a big deal about in the beginning of the season.

Thankfully, they now have to live with the fact that they are possibly the biggest chokers in the history of the league after losing the Superbowl.

Like I said, if you can't stop it then you need to get better. I've watched Patriot teams get throttled quite a few times over the 35 years I've been following them, so I don't feel bad about it at all. In fact, it's too bad they didn't put more up on the Bills, Dolphins, Redskins, Cowboys, etc....

The choice was to go for a fieldgoal, which the Bills would have had pretty much no chance of stopping, so that would have been automatic points, or give the Bill's defense a chance to gain back a little bit of dignity by stop them on 4th and 13... They were too close to the endzone to punt. Try again.
The Miami one the Prof is talking about, I don't remember that play specifically, but the fact of the matter is that they only bought Brady back in the 4th quarter when the Dolphins ran back an interception for a TD making it a 21 point game. 21 points in 8 to 9 minutes is just not completely impossible... especially considering that as I remember it the Dolphins were not having that much trouble scoring points against the Pats in that game (28 points at the end).

Keep defending 'em, boys. You are right, the Patriots are perfect. Oh, wait, they aren't anymore -- they are 18-1. ;-)

The Pats are one of the more classy teams in this league. Yeah, they do things in the heat of the moment, like most other teams do. But when you listen to them talk in the media, they usually have nothing but respect for their opponents. The media has it in for their head coach, so all you hear about is how classless they are...
So you keep on believing everything you hear in the media... and you keep on putting words into my mouth. I never called the Patriots perfect. For example, I am also unhappy with the fact that Belichick didn't go back onto the field when he realized the game wasn't over. But I don't believe its as big a deal as everyone is making it out to be. And I give him a bit of a pass due to the circumstances. As a Patriots fan, I can only imagine he was feeling 10 times worse than I am about this loss.
Anyway, maybe I'm being a bit facetious with you here, with my "you keep believing" comments... after all, we all have our view of things. But as far as your accusations go about me, thats what fans do... defend their team. I happen to believe they are getting a raw deal with most of this crap over the last year, and as such, I'm going to continue to defend them.

Karma is a B1tch, eat that humble pie, yummy. How does overlooking a team that could never beat you guys and then laughing at the 17 point prediction and not even cracking 17 points feel.
