Default Samuel left for Philly to be on Super Bowl contender

http://www.courant.com/services/news...,5224588.story
""When you come to one that makes you happy, why wait around?" Samuel said. "I just want a chance to be able to win and get back to the Super Bowl."

Most would agree that Samuel, who won two Super Bowls with the Patriots, would have had a better opportunity by staying in New England. He declined to comment when asked if he felt underappreciated by the Patriots, who drafted him in the fifth round out of Central Florida in 2003."

Is it that hard for him to tell the truth that he went for the money.

I think he came here for both money and chance to win a superbowl.

LOL... honestly.. how stupid can you be... you don't leave an 18-1 team, and say its because you want to be on a contending team..

Lets get this straight, he wanted money, and lots of it. He knows the pats are not going to pay just anyone. Honestly, I wouldn't have given him a huge contract either. He's got 16 picks in the last 2 years... did anyone know of him 3 years ago? Just because he has 2 big years, he's entitled to 10 mil a year? Please. Good riddens.

Yeah, I'm agreeing with the Pats on this one, he went to the Eagles for a money, I mean why leave a team that's almost always in the playoffs for a team that didn't even make the playoffs last year.

Sure, that would be awsome. It would be funny if he got toasted in the superbowl though.
