Default Would Lynch be a good fit in New England?

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- John Lynch's days with the Denver Broncos appear to be over.

Lynch skipped a team meeting Tuesday night and was excused from Wednesday's workouts for what Shanahan termed personal reasons.

Lynch was told he'd compete for a starting safety job when he took a pay cut this offseason. With the emergence of Marlon McCree, Lynch didn't play a single snap in the nickel or dime packages during the first week of training camp.

IMO, would be an amazing fit next to Harrison. Plus he fits the mold of a kind of player Belichik loves.. Smart, veteran, gives a 100 %% at least 35 years old.. lol.

This is interesting but, Sanders did an amazing job last year, because no one knew he was starting. He filled in and did his job. Also I've read that Merriweather will be playing a much bigger role as a safety this year. He could easily help, but I could see him as a role player in the secondary coming for pretty much nothing.
