This may be true, however, the pre-season can be a forecast to what the season holds. But according the article, they arent ready to have a bradyless season.

Really they got everything they needed out of that game. They were without what looked liked half there starters, and could have tied it if they wanted to. Win, loss really meant nothing in that game. But I was impressed by the play of Pierre Woods and Mayo. They did a great job.

For a team like the Pats the preseason means nothing, they have been there done that. For a team like the Chiefs this would be worse news.
