how do teams get home field?winning games and being the best team .im willing to bet that the stats would be the same if the team with the best record had to play on the road .why because they were the better teams to begin with .the stat you qoute i believe is miss leading .

I'm a little lost but here's my point if two teams play that are completly even. The team at home will win more. Ask, any football player and they will tell you how much it helps

i would agree with you if the teams are even and who wouldnt want to play at home .what im saying is the team with home field wins most of the time because they are the best team not because they play at home .a team gets home field for winning the most games and they win while having home field because they were the suprior team to begin with.take a team thats 13 and 3 they are going to beat a team thats 9 and 7 most of the time no matter where they play .
