Default Another Record to the Pats

The Patriots' most recent four road victories were the most dominating quartet of consecutive road wins in NFL history. According to Elias Sports Bureau, the Patriots are the first team in NFL history to win four straight road games by 22 points or more in the same season. The team's last four victory margins on the road have been 35, 24, 22 and 25. In those four games, the Patriots have outscored opponents 132-26 (averaging 33.0 points per game and allowing 6.5 points per game).

From the gloom and doom i thought we are done...

I think this is alot to do with the field condition but one never knows. The bright spot is looks like when the playoffs starts it will be away games

I disagree the bad home field should help the Pats, like when they faced Miami and Mare missed that field goal, because of the surface. The Patriots should no what to expect at their home field, its the visitor that gets confused. I don't think there's any reason why the have been playing so good on the orad maybe its luck.

That is a good point and is a latge factor, but 50,000 fans screaming for you is always an edge.

it didnt help the steelers much in the afc champoinship game in o4 or in 01 and playing on the road didnt hurt the steelers last year.home field advantage is over hyped.what counts the most is getting a first round bye.

I agree about a bye in the first round but the first game is at home another edge. If home field means nothing then why are 22 out of 32 of the teams in the NFL has a 50% winning percentage or better at home, and only 12 teams have a 50% winning percentage or more on the road. That is a huge differrence and proves what a difference it makes.
