I really think this might be the hardest non-conference schedule I have seen. Pittsburgh will be a challenge, but the rest might be tough, but should be winnable.

honestly, i think 7-9 would be the best that they could do and that's being generous.

If Brees play well I think anywhere from 6-10 to 9-7 is possible. But if he doesn't I think it will be ugly.

Also the draft will really tell how well this team can do, if they get Ngata or Hawk... I think there is a possiblilty of up to 12 wins on the schedule, but the defense has to show up each and every game.

UCF i agree about the brees thing but you have got to be kidding me about the draft, Hawks good but no 1st rounders ever been good enough to give a team 3 more wins in there first year.

I think Ngata could, the Saints biggest 2 problems were Ints and run stopping, Brees takes care of one, if they get Ngata, run stopping shouldn't be as much of a problem.

Big Ben rings a bell. And not making big mistakes is part of being good.

the defense was already in place with a great coach in pitt, I would hardly give all the credit to ben, that was just asked to not lose games. The saints have a new coach and many more holes to fille than pitt did.

They'll be close to the playoffs, but still have more work to do before it actually happens. I think they'll be competitive in their games though, whether or not they lose or win.
