With the 2 Qbs they signed this offseason I really don't see a QB being picked in this draft. I also hate D'Brick so I pray they don't draft him. I would actually like to have Bush, and that hurts because I still think he is over-rated. I do believe he would help Deuce stay healthy which I would love.
Can anyone explain the second pick to me, with 3 starting caliber safeties on the roster already, my Saints draft.... a safety. This must mean somebody is on there way out or Scott and Smith could be playing corner.
However, I love the Bush pick, because it should help Brees and Deuce stay healthier.
I really wanted the trade down to be for a third rounder, but I think Faine fills a big need, now we just need Orien Harris or another big DT to help with the run and I will be overjoyed with this draft, despite not yet understanding the second rounder.
they could have gotten gabe watson or wroten at that spot to instead of taking a S especially since they traded atlanta for one and a good one too. That pick didn't make too much sense to me either.
LB I can understand, because they have young LBs they might want to give a chance, but DT they fill with HOLLIS THOMAS????? he is horrible as you Eagle fans probably know, I guess they would rather have a mediocre guy, than a unproven guy.
hollis is a good run stopper but non existent on the pass rush. He also has major injury concerns. He if healthy gives you a nice run stopper in the middle, they still need some help there as you are aware.
