Saints get Faine
the Saints have made an attempt to fill the hole left by Bentley. Faine is a good player and i think he has a very bright future.

METAIRIE, La. (April 29, 2006) -- The New Orleans Saints got a new center from the team that snapped up their old one, acquiring the Browns' Jeff Faine in a trade during the second round of the NFL draft.
Cleveland received the Saints' second-round pick at No. 34 overall, which they used on Maryland linebacker D'Qwell Jackson.
New Orleans also got the Browns' second-round pick, nine spots lower, which they used to select safety Roman Harper out of Alabama.
The Saints were in the market for a center after Pro Bowl lineman LeCharles Bentley signed with Cleveland in March.
Faine, 6-foot-3, 291 pounds, missed the last two games last season after what he called a fluke injury when his right biceps snapped during a block. He had it surgically reattached with a screw in December.
He said he was not sure if he would be cleared to practice in the Saints' next full-roster training session in June. But he said he was excited to have a fresh start, not to mention the chance to block for New Orleans' top draft pick, Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush.
"He's just a phenomenal player. I've been a huge fan of his throughout these last two years watching him," Faine said. "You've got to hold your breath every time he touches the ball."
