Default Your #1 Thing Too Look Foward Too Next Season.

My #1 thing to look foward to next season is losing Fred Thomas,MAN that guy is awful.

And just a reminder, Lance Briggs will become a Free Agent next season, if we can pick him up that should allow us to draft a CB in the first round and not LB. Sure, we have a nice group of LB's with us now, but that should be improved next year with the coming back of Tommy Polley from IR. Think about this Lance Briggs,Mark Simineau, Fujita, Shanle, and Tommy Polley - GREAT ROTATION.

Also, look foward to us addressing LB in the draft in the 2nd or 3rd round. If we do go the 2nd round I hope we pick Buster Davis, but I really hope we wait for the 3rd for a LB b/c we need a better rotation of DT's - Hollis Thomas and Brian Young is all that we have, and Hollis isn't getting any younger.

I would much rather overspend on Asante Samuel than overpay Briggs, and both guys are going to demand more than they are worth. Briggs will not fit the NO defense, he is a Tampa 2 LB, and the Saints run anything but a Tampa 2. He could fit into the system in time, but why not draft a guy in round 2 and let them learn it from the start rather than start over with a high priced FA.

As for DT, I want Terdell Sands from the Raiders, he is HUGE and is still young.

Buster Davis will probably be gone by the end of the second, assuming he does ok in the combine and senior bowl. I agree on drafting a LB though.

I have got to disagree with you some. Polley I dont think will add much to your LB core. The LBS that will be there when you draft LATE in round one should be better than the CBs.

I would look foward to getting Bush in the offense more, alot of the time he was used as a decoy it was not till the end of the season that he started to get with it. I would also look at adding a WR in the first few rounds. There is not much help in the FA this offseason for WR and with Horn getting old it would be nice to have someone better than Cooper to go to.

I unfortunately think he might end up in Tampa, they have a butt load of cash and might just bring him a wheelbarrow full of hundreds to get him out of Chicago.
