I love it, every time the Saints trade a former high first round pick, he gets caught using weed. Wait until the end of the year, Sully will be in India in a semi-retirement smoking doobies with Lenny Kravitz.

yeah it's pretty clear now that the Saints got the better deal. Sully is fat and high while Johnson is faster than a speeding bullet.

What's funny is with all this, BB might release him or at least sit him all year, so in reality they got nothing for Johnson.

It was a worthless trade Johnson doesnt really provide much for the Saints, they already have plenty of options at SP and have to good WR options.

Johnson is a great KR, and Lewis and Stecker are pretty old, Johnson can at least give a talented return man. Sully is a complete waste and was killing a lot of Saints cap, it was a great trade for the Saints, and did nothing for NE.

check the bush thread Junit, the saints have already said that they are not going to use bush in the return game, he is too valuable to them.

Also, nole, how is lewis 35 and only been in the league for 4 years. that is strange, I didn't realize that johnson is 8 years younger than lewis

Right but regardless if they do or not...they have plenty of options at Special Teams. And I think he will get the job some time in his career.

He was a beer delivery man and only made the Saints after trying out at a training camp, if I remember the story correctly. They liked his amazing speed(4.2 in the forty) so much that he got hired on as a kick returner and made the pro-bowl in his first full year on the team.
