deuce is a great reciever out of the backfield, but his catches have decreased immensely over the past several seasons. I wonder why that is.

Well obviously last year he was hurt, so that doesnt really count. Maybe they will increase this year with a better QB, who has always had a good recieving back in LT.

they were still declining in the season's before this one. I think it was more to do with the playcalling.

I'd say you're both right. I have never been impressed with Brooks. It seems he could only play well against the Buccs. Swept us in our SuperBowl year. *******!

It might have been due to the emergence of Joe Horn and Donte Stallworth.

stallworth didn't really emerge until this past season, up until then he was widely viewed as a disappointment.

Actually it was Delhomme that came in at the end of game 2 in 2002. I thought for sure the game was in the bag when Brooks went out injured. Honestly because of what I saw in that one game from Delhomme is why I wasn't shocked the next season when Carolina went on a roll.

Oh yes indeed! I was jumping for joy when we signed Jake. Because I also saw that game and was very impressed. Like Matt Schuabb now for ATL. He's going to be a star QB when he gets on a team where he's the starter.

i picked Deuce... right now he is a better fit for the starting job and will definitly get more carries than Reggie Bush.. in a year or so my vote could change because i belive after some expeierence Reggie Bush will be one of the most dangerous players in the game... Rushing, Recieving, Returning, he will dominate in all of that...
