Are they trying to be the Colts or something? Oh well, we'll see how it turns out...

I think maybe more like the rams, all the dome teams try to do it, well except the lions, they just perpetually stink

i personally like how the draft played out. that is only because they say that osama young is really going to be a stud at corner. meachem will recover fast and add another dimension an already stud offense. you can only cover so many people. do you double meachem and leave colston or bush man to man? nope. meachem was drafted as a sure handed target who can really make something happen after the catch. rookie of the year, you heard it here. yes, that probably is a little biast, but meachem has fallen into a win win situation as long as he plays.

The Saints should of drafted a linebacker. They could of had Pozlusany couldn't they have? That would of been a better pick for them in my opinion.

The best pick would have been Alan Branch assuming he could stay healthy, but I think the coaches weren't sure he was a safe enough pick. DT and LB were the biggest needs but the coaches seem to have fallen in love with Shanle, Fujita, and Simmons, all of whom are mediocre at best. The draft was awful from my perspective, and I know a lot of Saints fans are all over Payton's nads, but I'm not one of them. He reached on a lot of guys, and let a lot of talent at needed positions go by.

All I have to say is, if the defense plays as bad as they did in a lot of games last year, the Saints might be dropping back a notch, because the offense can't do to much better than last year... unless of course Payton realizes that Deuce guy can actually carry a football more than 15 times a game.

I heard Meachem came in a little out of shape. Come on Meach, he was one of my favorite players at UT.

this is why they play the game. any player can flourish in any given system and vise versa. who knows if meachem will light it up (i sure think he should) and who is to say he won't. my personal favorite pick at 27 was the tight end olsen. reality struck and the saints took meachem. until he makes me dislike him i am excited about him. he has a golden oppurtunity with all the talent around him to make a name for himself. i'll say it again. defenses can only guard so many people. double team bush, duece, or colston and meachem will have some man on man oppurtunities.
