The problem is that the defense actually has to stop someone, because unlike the old Rams, this defense isn't going to force turnovers. You can have all the offense in the world, but when a team can run at will against the defense, does it matter? Last time I checked Brees, Bush, Deuce, Meachem, Colston, and the rest of the offense can only make plays when they are on the field. And without any real presence on the D to stop the other team, will they ever get that chance?

don't count out the d just yet. they were pretty decent last year (minus the big plays) all the saints did this offseason was add ballhawks to help with that turnover ratio. try and wait till the season starts until you start jumping ship.

just look at the Bengals who two years ago were intercepting everything, they add a ballhawk or two and were getting burned left and right
