Ex-Eagles LB Dhani Jones says he'll sign with the Saints
Quote:
NEW ORLEANS -- Former Philadelphia linebacker Dhani Jones, who started for the Eagles last season but then was waived after last spring's draft, said Thursday night that he intends to sign with the New Orleans Saints.
Jones, 29, discussed his decision while being interviewed on the NFL Network. Saints spokesman Greg Bensel did not immediately respond to a message seeking confirmation from the team.
Jones, who is listed at 6-foot-1, 240 pounds, played four season with the New York Giants before spending the past three with the Eagles. In Philadelphia, he was considered a disappointment after his combined tackle and assist totals fell into the 70s during each of his three seasons there, down from a career high of 120 during his last season in New York.
He played in all 16 regular season games in 2006 and was credited with 55 tackles and 21 assists, as well as half a sack.
the guy cares more about his poems and bowties, then about football, I had high hopes for him when he came to the EAGLES, but he never seemed to take off. The Saints are where the EAGLES send their scrub LB's. LOL

Eagles send their scrub LB their, the Cowboys send their scrub LBs their, but guess what, they are 3-0 against Philly/Dallas
