He isn't the returner, Payton has said that repeatedly, he will only return kicks if they need a big play late in a game or if everyone gets hurt. He has been with the first team offense in both games, when the first teams went out, he went out. Jammal Branch and Fred McAfee were the RBs against the second teams.
