A local TV station is reporting that a Saints player, a player rep from the union and Benson all had a meeting with Paul T. last week about the situation with the team. The players want to move back to LA where the team is paly some of their game and just treat the next game in SA as a road game. The team is having to practice at a high school field right now in SA because the dome there is being used for other things right now.

That whole situation is awful. The Hurricanes were bad enough, but I think the NFL's response was rushed and not the best for the team, where there were many other alternatives. The one thing I have to give them credit for, is that I haven't heard any Saints players use it as an excuse. The Saints have a lot of character to not to compain to the media saying poor me, when in all reality, they have ever right to. I just hope for next season the situation is somewhat straightened out, for the sake of the players, fans, and all the victims of the Hurricanes.

You are right I have never heard anyone of them say anything to blame the season on the hurricanes instead you can find alot of them saying that they feel even more motivated about playing. I think you do have to seperate the talk about moving the team to another city from the hurricanes though. It has been talked about for over filve year that Benson wants out and I think that is causing more problems for the players thatn anything else. They are the one that are stuck between the owner and the Fans.
