That's a pretty stupid move. Haven't the Saints had enough problems lately without needing to create more for themselves? Brooks has pretty much been a franchise quarterback for them, benching him will only drive away more fans.

The problem that people have with Brooks is that the mistakes he made when he first started he is still making now.

Thats very interesting! I think there must have been a lot to the story behind the scenes to get to this point. It seems like Brooks has been unhappy for the last several years, not having much other talent to play with, as the Saints have never really been able to become the playoff team, that they has the potential to become. I think he would make a good quarterback for the Jets next year if a deal was worked out. The Jets are in need of a quarterback, as Pennington has continuously been hurt, and Brooks would have some talent surrounding him, once all the injured players return. I think he's still a good quarterback, but definitely needs a change of scenery.

That is a very good point I never thought about Brooks going to the Jets. He would be a good back up to Chad, I would be surprised if Brooks got another starting job handed to him.
