^^^^^^If they want to do anything to reduce the heat stroke but keep the natural aspect of the game, I cant argue with a well designed retractable stadium. Hell, if the 800,000 people in brewcity can aford it for baseball games, I dont see how the ever-growing cards fanbase cant make it happen.

Does anyone here actually enjoy watching football indoors, whether on TV or live?
Yes, it's definetly needed. At the beggining of the season it's way too hot. It's more comfortable going to a game when there's a roof. The baseball stadium has one too and people here like Arena Football so yes they enjoy football with a roof. The team will be better and if it's not 115 degrees more people will go.

I guess the Cards facility is more of a multipurpose facility for the greater Phoenix area more than just a football stadium. But let's face it, in January they won't need that roof to host a Super Bowl.
I just generally hate any kind of football played indoors without the elements. It's got a manufactured feel to the game that simply isn't needed.
Have you ever lived in Phx/Tucson?
I can get down right hot still in Oct/Nov and especially if the sun is beating down on you
