I know it's hot in the summer, but for God's sake does Arizona really need a roof?
Does anyone here actually enjoy watching football indoors, whether on TV or live?

True, and major props to Bidwill for getting the grass part right.
I guess the Cards facility is more of a multipurpose facility for the greater Phoenix area more than just a football stadium. But let's face it, in January they won't need that roof to host a Super Bowl.
I just generally hate any kind of football played indoors without the elements. It's got a manufactured feel to the game that simply isn't needed.

same here, the game was never ever meant to be indoors, that's what the arena league is for

It helps teams score more points, which = more ratings.
How much bigger did the Colts fanbase get this year?

Ummm huh? Players actually prefer the artificial field turf. Seattle is the league wide winner when it comes to polling players as to what the fav field is...
Are you people thinking of astroturf?
