When Angelo resigns Briggs. Then gains the Bears another pick on day 1. With either trading down or trading Jones. Lets see hate dispate over the fact the haters still claim ANGELO isnt doing enough to make the Bears a winner!!

Unfortunately, I don't think the hate for Angelo will ever dissipate simply because people are too ignorant to look at all the things he's done for this team and instead base their opinion strictly on him getting rid of or not signing a player that they liked.
For instance, "Angelo didn't resign Rosie Colvin, he's a moron. He should be fired!" Or "Angelo should have drafted Byron Leftwich, he's a moron, he should be fired!" Or "Angelo didn't horrensdously overpay for Randal El, he's a moron, he should be fired!"
Angelo has done some things I have not agreed with over the years and wish he would have done differently. Heck I still wish we would have gotten Terrell Suggs, but everyone makes mistakes and really we don't even know if they are mistakes cuz we can't judge how other players would have done here. We can only judge Angelo on his successes and there have been many of those.
Bringing in John Tait, Ruben Brown, Fred Miller, Thomas Jones, Moose, Adewale Ogunleye, Griese(more recently), Roberto Garza, and John St. Clair (the last 2 both did well as back-ups last year when called upon.)
Drafting Tommie Harris, Peanut Tillman, Ian Scott, Alex Brown, Lance Briggs, Chris Harris, Mark Bradley, Tank Johnson, Terrence Metcalf, Nathan Vasher, Rex Grossman.
Giving long term deals to Urlacher, Mike Brown, ALex Brown, Ogunleye, Kretuz, among others to make sure the team stays together for a long time and stays in a healthy cap situatiion.
Fact of the matter is Angelo pretty much built this entire team and has done it very well to make sure that we can sustain this for a number of years. I am confident that he will get the Briggs deal done and if he doesn't then it will only be because Briggs is asking for way too much. ANgelo has shown a willingness and a great desire to reward his own players with long term deals. He will do everything in the team's best interest to keep Briggs.
