Yeah people are pretty ridiculous about their Favre hating. They should be media hating.
I agree.

I cannot stand how people fail to realize that the media is behind 90% of this "Favre talk" that we've seen for several years now.

Also, IMO Favre is the obvious best option at QB this year, and if he decides to play, next year as well. Too often players such as Rodgers are rushed out onto the field, while they can be sitting and learning the pro game for a year or two before the franchise is put upon their back. Favre had a horrendous season but the year prior he did some really decent things. I think he still has it, he just needs the supporting cast. Time will tell.

Yeah, Rodgers is doing just fine where he is now. He's bulking up and getting his body into NFL shape, and continuing to work on improving the basics. He has impressed at minicamp and 1 or 2 more years as backup won't hurt at all.

So 3 years as a back up for a number 1 pick?

As far as Favre, it's the offseason and every little thing is blown out of proportion because there's nothing else to write about. Just noise.

Yep, a QB at #24. Nothing wrong with that.

Favre isnt holding the Packers hostage at all. In fact, the Packers told him to take his time in deciding what to do because him coming back, or not didnt change their off season moves or draft day decisions at all. Now if The Packers said "If Favre says were going 'this direction', and if he leaves were going 'this direction.'" and Farve took his sweet time, then yes I'd agree with you, but it wasnt like that.

If Favre goes out there this year and chucks up 30 picks, hes gone, its that simple. I personaly dont think 50% of the picks last year were his fault, but that still leaves 15 that were, which isnt great, but thats Farve throughout his career. Look at his career as a whole and you will see that Favre has ALWAYS thrown alot of picks and during the SB years he threw 13 and 16.

The fact is, Favre can still get it done as long as he has some help around him. Losing every weapon he had last season didnt help and you saw it on the field and in his stats. That being said, hes still the best QB in the NFC North by far (which is SAD) and should a 49er fan REALLY be saying anythign about another team's QB? Hell even the Rats with Bller have a better QB than Alex Smith and his 1 td and 11 ints.
