Now just because the Cowboys waited until the seventh round to draft Weber State tackle Pat McQuistan and Texas Tech guard/center E.J. Whitley doesn't mean they completely ignored offensive linemen when preparing for the draft.
In fact, the Cowboys apparently had heavy interest in taking Boise State offensive tackle Daryn Colledge in the second round. But the Packers grabbed him with the 47th overall pick, two ahead of the Cowboys' original second-round spot. With Colledge gone, the Cowboys traded down four spots with the Jets and drafted Notre Dame tight end Anthony Fasano.
