Even if this is true though and they have made it clear that he doesn't have to play due to his 5 mil in the bank, it would clearly be a leverage ploy. Bush will need the NFL just like the NFL will need Bush. Both sides will make just an unbelievable amount of money off the other.

If the Saints GM doesn't get Bush signed after all that hype and all the season-ticket records already being set, he will be ran out of town before the season even begins. He knows it, too. This deal will get done.

Like this is big news.

First off, like TBT said, there is nothing quoted directly from Bush on this subject and there is zero confirmation of him sitting out the season.

Secondly, who gives a **** if he and his agent are trying to work a deal in Bush's favor. He was the best player in college football last year, and Bush and his agent know what his market value is. 95% of professional athletes try to maximize their dollar value, so what's the problem? Especially as hyped as Bush is by experts, analysts, etc. Seriously, who gives a ****?
[/b]
And yet you keep posting in this thread.

Anyway i wouldn't be surprised if the league source is Bush's agent or Bush himself just playing around with the Saints. Scare them a bit, make them offer more money etc.

People will reach for anything. I don't understand why people hate Reggie Bush so much. All he did was ask to wear his college number and now there's this BS report and people say he's a bad person and blah blah blah.

I say give the man his money.

If they let Bush go, they'll enter high in the draftboard again and will end up with Bush.. yet again.

Heh. Bush will be signed before the last preseason game is played. There is absolutely no reason to think that Bush will sit out the year or even consider doing so.
[/b]

Did Reggie Bush say that, or is it just speculation on your part?

What's your point?

Is it because this is day to day media bull**** that people grapple with and fall for and I'm not suppossed to have an opinion.

Blow me.

I was talking about the "who gives a ****" part. If you don't give a **** and if it bores you, then why do you waste your time posting in this thread?
