Default has this ever happened?

has it ever happened that a player was taken in the nfl draft to play running back and ended up leading the nfl in receptions his rookie season? reggie is on pace to have 120 receptions this year at the pace he is going. i feel this number is only going to go up as teams stop focusing on him and paying more attention to duece and the receivers. pretty incredible

actually he is on pace to have 108 receptions. He is a better receiver because he can't bust through the line like in college, I fear that his body will wear down after some time though.

they are not really using him to pound the ball. he is more of a decoy that seems to be getting checked down to alot.

There is no way he will wear down getting about 10-15 touches a game. If anything he will be fresh for the playoffs because he hasn't done that much, I would be more worried about Brees's arm wearing down because he never threw this much under Marty.

This is true and I believe this is the best way to use him right now.
