one cutback run and this guy is barry sanders? give me a break.

take away the 44 yard cutback and this guy averaged three yards a carry.

This is the most absurd logic I've ever heard.

You can't take away the 44 yard run, it's impossible. It actually happened!

i think the boo-yah network is responsible for this phenomenon of "the next _____" and it's mind numbing.

can the guy play a few seasons in the nfl before you start comparing him to one of the greatest running backs the nfl has ever seen? or is it logical to make these statements after one pre-season game? obviously i know where you stand on the subject.

why can't reggie bush just be reggie bush?

that's not my point. i was incensed by the immediate comparison to barry sanders because of one run. look at the body of work was my point.

...a 45 yard run that resulted in a FG.

That is alot like Barry's career!

Yes, he made a great play. But other then that he had 5 carries for 11 yards.

I still hope/think he will be the playmaker everyone wants him to be

Just like Delmar said that was what Barry was all about. No gain, loss, short yardage, then an insane run all the way down the field.
