whats the point in having Donnie Edwards if your guys up front get pushed back about 2-3 yards off the line of scrimmage. Watching this game right now, they should be more concerned with a player like jamal williams than donnie edwards.

He isn't a leader....He's never assumed that role. Merriman in his second year is a more respected leader than Donnie has ever been. Jamal is a leader. McCree is a leader....Godfrey and Foley are leaders....
Donnie is not.

Most likely Matt Wilhelm because he's the better Coverage LB, he's kind of in the mold of the Patriot LBs.
But I like Stephen Cooper a lot more, he's a better athelete and is a much better blitzer, but he'll most likely be Godfrey's backup. Even though he's started all pre-season along with Wilhelm.
