1. The Superdome was crap before Katrina, I say if you plan to stay in NO you need a new stadium. That will be hard to do, people are more worried about building the rest of NO. I think that the best choice for the Saints would be to move to LA. LA really wants an NFL team. They have an old stadium the Saints can use until they build a new one.
2. They do need to win this year. If they don't their chances of ever building a new fan base in NO is going to be hard.
3. They should go with Vince Young. Vince Young reminds me of a bigger, stronger, better passing Mike Vick. I think he'll be a better player than Leinert and Cutler (is that his name?).

I really agree they should take Young. Cutler's good, Leinart's probably better, but none of them really can create a big fan base. Young is a flashy, cocky player who will be a lot of fun to watch, and is exactly what the Saints need. I like the idea of putting a team in LA, see my "NFL Expansion" thread, but I feel that moving the Saints now will be counterproductive to the rebuilding of the region. New Orleans needs them more than they need the city.

completly sums it up. Vince Young will fill the stands which is what they need now more than ever.

Couldn't have said it better. Saints won't get a new stadium now thanks to Katrina, and Benson won't and can't pay for it out of pocket.
As for the draft, they should take Young if available but they're probally scared of the scrambler type since Brooks didn't work out so I see them taking Leinart.

What kind of fans filled the stands before? I think its teams the saints play that fill the stands. Teams like the patriots, Eagles, Cowboys, Giants, Colts and so on sale out games in N.O. I would like to see them come back strong but i think the rebuild is going to over ride the Saints.

I'll buy that. If the NFL decides to be patient, the Saints will solve their LA team problem. I know they've thought of it, but are keeping it quiet so they don't look evil to the public during the Hurricane time right now. If not LA Benson will take his team home to San Antonio, whom showed lots of support for them when they played at the Alamo Dome. A lot will depend on the support the NO people give the Saints as far as showing up for the games and such. If they don't show enough support, it will be easy for the NFL to use that as a reason to move them even sooner than 4 years.

NO!!!!! YOUNG IS A TERRIBLE PICK.
Having two QBs that would equal over 100 mill, and both can't play at once.
DEFENSE, the Saints need defense, especially a DT and playmaking LB.
Oh and the Superdome wasn't bad. It needed updating but not the overhaul it got.

I don't think so, I heard they didn't put it in there because of the injury.
