This guy is unreal. Props to the Saints coaching staff for rolling the dice with that last pick. Most people thought that Reggie Bush would be a lock to R.O.Y. He might have to fight his own teamate for it.

Fluke Season? How the hell do you can you call it a fluke season? a fluke game maybe but we're now past the halfway point... 11 catches 123 yards and a td? In the nfl that some serious numbers. Hes doing it almost every week. give the kid his credit.

sounds like a quicker shannon sharpe. i read that he played some Tight End in college. 'cause it would make sense that he was drafted so late from being an undersized TE.

but I picked him up early for my fantasy team

too bad justin gage can't play like this

I think he's legit, certainly he's benefited from the situation around him...but he's consistently putting up good numbers. Yesterday they were without Joe Horn, and both him and Henderson stepped up with 100 yd games.

That's also why I think the Saints offense is so dangerous...you try to take away Colston or Horn..and that opens up running lanes for Deuce...try to take away the HR threat that Reggie Bush brings that opens up the passing game...and Drew Brees does not make many mistakes. (barring the Raven game)

If the Saints secondary wasn't as sliced as swiss cheese I'd consider them legit Super Bowl contenders...but this is Sean Payton's first year here and he's already getting this kind effort from his players. A few more good draft classes, and I think the Saints can be elite.

Meh speed is a bit overrated.
Look at Troy Williamson...took him 7 overall...all the speed in the world..but can't adjust to balls or catch for ****.

Give me a WR with hustle, and great hands anyday of the week.
[/b]

No doubt it is. I was just talking about what I noticed from his combine.

Speed at the combine can help a bad player or hurt a good player, happens all the time.

Brees has always been able to turn guys into good WRs

When he went to NO, i figured he would turn either Stallworth or Henderson into superstars.

A major reason he fell so far is because he went to Hofstra...hopefully there's a few more sucess stories like Colston and teams in the NFL start digging deep for talent at smaller schools
