How funny (and cool) would it be for, all the high-ceiling talent in the 1st round that your offensive rookie of the year come from the 7th round (Colston), & the defensive rook of the year possibly comes from the 5th round (Mark Anderson).
Just goes to show to value all those picks, and scout everyone thoroughly.

A major reason he fell so far is because he went to Hofstra...hopefully there's a few more sucess stories like Colston and teams in the NFL start digging deep for talent at smaller schools

And a couple RB's to watch out for this next draft.. Arkee Whitlock from I-AA Southern Illinois and Germaine Race from D-II Pittsburg State. I watched the former in person on Saturday and he's got a real shot to succeed, his field vision is excellent.

Colston is playing real well and im not surprised. I actually saw him play a couple times at Hofstra with another Rookie WR Devale Ellis who happens to be on the Lions.
Colston has good speed, and good hands. People werent sure he could run good routes b.c of the type of offense they ran at Hofstra, alot of screens to the WR's and shallow crossing routes. Not sure what happen at the combine or what else some of these gms saw that they didnt like but he's proving them all wrong right now.
Not surprised he is doing this well at all....he was in my top 10 prospects for small schoolers all last year. Only thing that surprised me was I thought the team taking him may try to make him gain about 25 pounds and become a tight end because of his size and lack of speed.
