the way the rest of the QB's in the NFC have played, the pro-bowl might as well be Brees, Garcia, and Romo

Now really...come on. Is McNabb going to play on crutches? He'll be playing WITH the NFC, not AGAINST them.

The thing that really sucks was Marty playing Brees in that last game when we had nothing to gain but a 100 grand bonus to Marty if we won 10 games.
Brees got hurt and we lost all bargaining power for which ever of the two QB's we were going to part with. Keeping either one and getting a first rounder would have been better that getting a third round consulation draft pick for Brees.

Rivers has played really well and I'm glad Drew has been playing lights out. New Orleans made out like Bandits and Miami is just stupid.

I'm sure Drew is laughing all the way to the bank. I am joyous for both parties involved. Besides Miami just likes to put Chargers on their roster. I think they have a secret crush on our players.

Brees' injury was the best thing that's EVER happened to the Saints. He doesn't get hurt and he very well may be in Miami, leaving us probably with Leinhart/Deuce combo. Not bad, but a far cry from Brees/Deuce/Bush.

The Saints deserve all the props they get now. After their opener when it seemed that the Falcons handed them the game they've played damn good football. I looked at that opener as a fluke TBH but they've manitained that effort and focus all season.
I'm impressed with Sean Payton and what he's done there.

I didnt look at it as a fluke, but I do agree with you. I thought Atlanta kinda looked like they werent giving it 100% that night. But after watching some more Saints games and seeing how wonderful the Falcons have been playing, I realize that the Saints aint the "Aints" anymore.
