Default Deuce Is The Man

Deuce is still THE man in that offence. Sure, It's nice to see Bush back there also. Bush will be good but Deuce already is. He pounds it in there day in, and day out. Give the man a little respect. I like bush but I wouldn't trade you 3 Reggie's for one Deuce

Now that's a Saints fan who actually knows what he is talking about!!!

But three Reggies, that would be one hell of a receiving core.

duece is definatley the rock of the offense. it is always nice to have a pound the back option. but bush is the future. until he looses a step, like duece has, peyton is going to use bush in a more extravagant role than duece. don't get me wrong, if the saints drew up the plays for duece that they are bush, he could definatley be more effective than a quick 5-10 yards up the middle. duece can still catch and can still punish people. with bush in the same backfield they are the new thunder and lightning.

I think getting bush unexpectanly with the second pick was a huge lift for that team. I think he is the #1 reason they have won so many games, duece might get the 4.9 yards per carry but bushs presence is something that no team can take lightly imo.

no question. bush is the man. however, duece is still the man and will continue to be as long as he shares the backfield with the receiver/finnese back bush. i am sure he is thankfulll for all the attention bush is getting from opposing defenses. that's what is allowing him to rush like he is.

He has been running nothing short of incredible. Bush really hasnt been runing the ball as well as i thought he would, his recieving has been great though, everything that was expected in that department.

they don't really use him as a runner. when they do he seems to out run his lanes and miss his blocks. however, the last couple of games he is starting to run more straight ahead rather than when he stops and tries juke out the defender. he is a rookie and will only improve. i will be happy if he continues what he is doing and if peyton and company keeps getting him involved with the offense.

I've always liked Duece, I wanted him to fall a couple of more spots in his draft so the Bears could take him instead of Anthony Thomas.

"Thunder and Lightning" I like that. Anyone remer the original "Thunder and Lightning"?
New Orlean Saints tandem of Muncie and Galbreath in the 70's.
