reggie looked bad today...as did the Saints team. i watched highlights when i got home from work and they looked very flat! Even though i am a Falcons fan i will not write the Saints off just yet. they are a tough team who just ran into somebody who was having maybe the best game of the year so far for them. Good luck against tampa bay...i want the saints to keep wining aswell as the Falcons so wwe can have the Showdown in the Dome Nov26th. Good luck the rest of the way!

This is a good post. Alot of people would just bash the Saints. The only problem in your post is that the Falcons won't be in the NFC championship game.
ya, talk about having a bye week at the wrong time. the saints played like they hadn't practiced in 2 weeks. however, the defense still played pretty hard but just couldn't get enough pressure. not to mention that the saints tried too much trickery at the wrong times. even though the saints got beat, i don't think they got beat by anybody but themselves. that is not to take the credit from baltimore. they had a gameplan and executed it pretty good. all the turnovers, mental mistakes, and offensive errors equals a sure loss. here are the bad offensive stats for the saints:
6 trips into scoring range (30 yard line or less)
Only 3 scores
5 turnovers (one returned for a TD)
10 penalties

not trying to double post, but i will agree that reggie looked pretty bad. he just couldn't get anything going. however, his presence was a huge part of the passing game (colston and horn) being so huge. the saints will bounce back.

I dont know man i think tha falcons have a good shot at it.....I think right now they are the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFC.......behind of course the bears and then the Giants, the have a great chance "IF" vick continues to throw the ball the way he has!
That's one of those games where every bounce went the wrong way, balls out of both receivers and defenders hands went right to the Ravens, but hey, that happens and you have to come back and play. The Saints at least kept playing, when AB was there, that got ugly and it got ugly fast.

I would hope you felt the Falcons had a good shot at it considering your a Falcons fan. I believe that when the Hawks get healthy they will have a good shot at it. The reason why I don't think the Falcons will make it is because I don't believe Vick will be able to keep up the good passing. I believe that the Falcons will get shut down by a good team who stops the run and forces Vick to pass.
