inside the last two minutes of the game, the saints forced a fumble inside the buc's five yard line. instead, of trying for a score to improve on an already big lead, they took 4 knees and gave the ball back to tampa with 20 seconds left. yes, they did this knowing that tampa didn't have enough time for three scores but they still just willingly gave them the ball. now what is so impressive about this is, most people (including myself) would have at least taken a field goal to make it 34 to 14. i really think that peyton and team have a higher respect for competition and realize that a play or two here different and they could have been in a different situation. i hope this earns them some respect, because it sure did in my book. ya, and i know that there are some of you reading this saying that the saints just don't have that killer instinct, but i disagree and say that the saints respect the true competition of the game of football. great win. go saints!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they should have went for the throat and demrolize the bucs even more. maybe you have forgotten the beat down that the bucs put on the saints for the past few years. I understand sean payton is a good guy and gruden and him are friends but...u dont have friends on the field!! the saints should have ran it up even more. if the tables were turned the bucs would have ran it up! Anyways congrats on a great win this week! good luck against the Steelers!

you reap what you sew. sometimes it is better to save a little. besides, who knows what could have happened had they tried for points. injuries can happen. i just think the saints showed class to a team that had no chance to come back from three scores in less than a minute.
